Confidence, Character, and Community—Built One Step at a Time
Mini dancers build foundational strength, balance, and control through movement designed just for their stage of development. Whether they’re skipping across the floor, tapping out rhythms, or learning jazz isolations, each class helps improve motor skills and body awareness in a fun, encouraging way.
With gentle guidance from experienced instructors, young dancers grow more sure of themselves week by week. Every time they master a new skill or perform for an audience, they see what they’re capable of—and that confidence carries into all areas of life.
Our studio is a place where kids feel seen and supported. Classes encourage teamwork, respect, and kindness—values that shine both in and out of the dance room. As students prepare for seasonal performances, they build lasting friendships and learn the joy of working together toward a shared goal.

See the Difference: Soul 2 Sole vs.
Standard Activities for Ages 6–8
Dance isn’t just movement—it’s a meaningful way to support your child’s full development. At Soul 2 Sole, our Mini Level program creates a space for young dancers to grow in confidence, coordination, and character—all in a fun, faith-rooted environment. Here's how our approach stands out from traditional youth sports and generic recreation programs:
Primarily emphasizes physical output—speed, strength, or competition—without a balance of emotional or artistic development.
Large teams or classes often mean less personalized attention, leaving some kids feeling left behind.
Winning and ranking are often central, which can add pressure and limit enjoyment for young children.
Seasonal sports often end abruptly, making it harder to build lasting connections.
Our classes blend movement with creativity, social interaction, and self-expression. Kids build physical skills and emotional resilience through dance.
With small class sizes and nurturing instructors, each dancer is given thoughtful guidance and encouragement.
Our dancers learn routines, perform in showcases, and celebrate progress—not perfection. We prioritize encouragement over competition.
Our September–May program offers consistency and connection, helping dancers build friendships that grow year after year.

Movement, Imagination, and Skill—All in One Class
Mini Level dancers (ages 6–8) are introduced to the vibrant world of dance through a joyful blend of styles—ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pom, and musical theatre. Each class is thoughtfully designed to combine rhythm, movement, and imagination, keeping kids active, engaged, and excited to learn.
With gentle guidance and upbeat instruction, students explore the basics of each style while building coordination, musicality, and spatial awareness. Creative exercises encourage self-expression, and group work promotes teamwork and trust. As the season progresses, dancers grow not only in technique, but in confidence—culminating in a joyful on-stage recital that celebrates all they’ve accomplished.

Creative Foundations That Support Every Young Dancer
In our Mini Level classes, children ages 6–8 experience a thoughtfully designed mix of styles—including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pom, and musical theatre. This diverse approach helps young dancers discover their interests while developing physical skills like strength, flexibility, and coordination in a playful, encouraging setting.
Each weekly class introduces new techniques through age-appropriate movement and rhythm activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Whether they’re working on timing in tap, expression in musical theatre, or precision in jazz, dancers are gently challenged to grow at their own pace. Along the way, they gain valuable lessons in self-control, perseverance, and teamwork. By the season’s end, they proudly share their progress in a community performance that celebrates both their individual growth and collective effort.

Friendship and Growth Through Dance
At Soul 2 Sole, our Mini Level classes for ages 6–8 are about so much more than learning steps. They’re a foundation for lifelong growth. Through a carefully structured curriculum that blends creativity with discipline, young dancers begin to build confidence in their abilities, coordination in their bodies, and character in their hearts.
In each class, children are guided through skills that strengthen both movement and mindset. As they practice rhythm, posture, and teamwork, they also learn responsibility, patience, and resilience. Our instructors meet every dancer where they are, offering personalized support and steady encouragement in a Christ-centered, family-first environment.
The season ends with a heartwarming recital where each dancer takes the stage and shines. It’s a celebration of their effort, growth, and the joy they’ve discovered through dance—memories that stick long after the applause fades.

Celebrating Growth On Stage and In Their Hearts
At Soul 2 Sole, dance is more than a weekly activity—it’s an experience that shapes how children see themselves and the world around them. Our Mini Level classes for ages 6–8 are filled with meaningful moments that go far beyond practicing steps or learning routines.
From giggles during group warm-ups to the proud smiles during our winter showcase and year-end recital, every experience builds lasting confidence and joy. Through rhythm games, choreography, and peer collaboration, children form friendships and grow more connected to their own creativity. They leave class with more than new skills—they carry the excitement of performing, the courage to try, and the memory of being part of something special.
It’s these in-between moments—the hugs after class, the high-fives in rehearsal, the applause after a performance—that make dance such a gift. And we’re honored to help each child find joy in every step.
